DIRECT-TO-DEVICE, LOW LATENCY, 5G NON-TERRESTRIAL MOBILE CONNECTIVITY
Zephyr enables a new frontier in telecoms: the stratosphere. In this orbit, Zephyr’s services and solutions offer multiple technological and economic advantages over legacy terrestrial and non-terrestrial solutions.
Zephyr has a coverage of 7,500 square kilometres, which is the equivalent of up to 250 towers on the ground. In areas of lower population densities or difficult terrain, Zephyr acts as a terrestrial tower in the sky, seamlessly integrating into mobile operators’ networks, becoming the right technical and economic solution to expand their edge of coverage.
For the first time, MNOs can expand the edge of their networks to rural and remote areas, improve their quality of service, increase their subscriber base, and reduce churn, all whilst generating healthy profits.
