AALTO is pioneering a new era in telecommunications from the stratosphere. AALTO's connectivity solutions provide numerous technological and economic benefits compared to traditional terrestrial and satellite solutions.
With a coverage area of an approximate 7,500 square kilometres, equivalent of up to 250 ground-based towers, Zephyr serves as a tower in the sky, capable of seamless integration into the networks of mobile operators. This makes it an ideal solution for extending coverage in sparsely populated or challenging terrains.
